The CHIP school adoption program will provide support in the following areas:
o Infrastructure
o Education interventions
o Health Camps and Workshops
The CHIP projects are the following:
- Prateeksha Nagar: Prateeksha Nagar is the beginning of CHIP in Mumbai. Adopted on February 5, 2004 Prateeksha Nagar CHIP’s principal project as CHIP works to make it a model school.
- Oshiwara School: Oshiwara is the second project of CHIP in Mumbai. Oshiwara Municipal School serves over 3000 children from Standard 1 to 7 in Hindi, Marathi and Urdu divided over seven divisions.
- Prateeksha Nagar Balwadi: The Balwadi class in Prateeksha Nagar School began in July 2008. CHIP is using this platform to develop a unique model of education and learning. Currently the Balwadi is being conducted in the school’s covered shed a space which has been developed by us as a safe and fun learning environment.
